Used to have mad motorbikes GSXR750, CBR 900
But after a really bad accident about 5 years ago with an uninsured driver that pulled out on me and i was lucky to walk away from my wife made me get rid of the bikes as we had a child on the way. Anyhow enough of the sob story some people noticed the herald in the background of some other pics and showed an interest so thought id post some proper pics of her. 26,000 genuine miles from new, never been welded or filled.

Whoa! Very nice! I remember years ago there used to be a dumped one near me (who would do such a thing!) and it had some chrome rims and looked alright. If they made these in RC (or the shell) that would be great, dropped with some nice minilites, the old white and green colour scheme, oh man..!

Thats a proper car! I had a beetle 1 year younger than that. Had to sell it to buy my first house

Nice - a bit of a step down from a 'Blade though...

Couldnt carry the wife and two kids on the blade. Cant say i dont miss the bikes because i do but when kids come along i think you have to consider them not that i rode like a mad man just car drivers are so unaware. Think everbody should do a bike test first that would teach them to be more observant

It's true, I rdie a ZX6-R and every journey is frought with car-driving morons. Agree with the 'Do A Bike Test Too' thing completely!

my brother races cars like this in bangers, the only rule being that all the cars must be made pre 1968!! you see some genuine classics getting absolutely mullered. i won't show him this, he'll be on the way to yours with a probably not quite big enough wad of cash and convince you to sell it to him.

Very nice the 12/50 looks so much better than the later 1360 much nicer front end on the early cars .I almost bought a vittesse as a first car a mk1 2.0 it was described to me on the phone as having flared arches which put me off plus it had no mot .

I quite fancy a vitesse but would have to be a mkII the mkI handled dangerously with the swing axle. A local guy to me keeps trying to sell me his tr5 as hes getting a little old to wrestle it he knows i want it and i know he wants me to have it but we cant meet on price yet!!!!!!!

The British should be proud of there old cars I dont understand why they want to smash them I would find it much more fun to watch later cars getting their crap aerodynamic bodies and sh@t plastic bumpers getting smashed to smithereens !

Nice car ! Prefer older motors myself, easier to fix and cheap parts. Can't stand the modern Euro-boxes.

Just one word - fantastic!
Even when it´s not mint as you say - I prfer cars which can tell a story and not cars which a over restaurated and antispetic.
When I was young and foolish - I´m never young but still foolish- I used to have a MG miget, which I run all day summer and winter open, because the roof was gone. Had the car nearly 4 years but couldn´t stop the rust with my skills so I had to sell it. hope it is still alive
Was great fun this little fellow and still mis it.

Cant believe all the nice comments. Thanks guys I think with the older cars your more part of it. With the modern euro boxes theres far to many computers controling everything

Its a true four seater. A super sub-compact by USA standards. But I'm 6foot 2 and fit no problem

This is a beautiful car, brings back a lot of memories ! I had a '62 Vitesse 6 1600 convertible for several years which was sold to a friend and is now being rebuilt, no. 429 off the line. Also had a Mk1 2000, a 1250 and a 1360 estate which I used as a 'camper van' at the coast on weekends. The whole range is brilliant, wow

You'd be suprised how many people miss it when it goes in the garge but trying to sort some shelving in the loft so alot of cars tanks trucks etc in garge at the moment. Had quite a few older people especially ladies ask if they can sit in it. Being a gent i let them and everyone says it smells how they remember.......

Conclusion: older ladies have an eye for a nice car and a keen sense of smell

Nice Jeffy- such low mileage!! You need to put some mileage on her and enjoy!

jeffy

29-Nov-2009

In the 5 years I've owned her she has done less than 100miles I just don't get the time with her that she deserves. I really should sell her on to someone else because its a shame.
