Long term hop-up Project
At last I'm just about there!! This beefed up, tricked up King Cab has taken a while plus a few £££s to put together. I did'nt have a straight forward plan as when I started hunting down the parts I did'nt know some of them now used even existed!! The list is as follows
-Sassy Aluminum Chassis
-Sassy Steering Kit
-A&L Lethal Weapon Belt Drive Tranny
-A&L Powerclutch
-Robinson Racing 48p 78t Spur Gear
-Integy Blue Piggyback Shocks
-RC ScrewZ Stainless Steel Screw Kit
-Pro-Line Speed Paw Tires
Everything has gone together very well, must say the RC ScrewZ kit is a massive improvement over standard, its the first time I've used hex heads!!
I must give a mention to fellow members kontemax - highflyer - crash cramer who have given me tips/advice/sold parts. All thats left is to dream up a suitable colour scheme for a unique shell, plus stick a quick motor in. Update: 13.01.09 Just fitted the Front bumper and Motor Guard produced by A.P.M. Plus the body shell which was sprayed by Monty a couple of months back, I went for a very simple slightly retro looking design with some company decals and Tamiya TRF ones which I've always liked the look of.

VERY nice indeed !! Must have taken some serious $$$ to put together !? Are you gonna get it dirty ??? The King Cab has always been close to my heart and I sometimes regret I sold my 100% New Built one together with a Toyota Hilux also New Built. Needed the cash I guess

Awesome mate. Love the blue shocks. Did you lock the rear diff, as it certainly transforms the performance. Only problem I have is it seems to shread Hex nuts.

Wow, thats a very trick looking kingcab, i personally like the nissan body on it, but if your going to run it id find something less valuable thats for sure. Fewer make a kingcab copy bodyshell.

The new bumper & motor guard look great, they really go well with the chassis. Quite like the body too, looks like Monty did a great job as always.
