I bought this from my local model shop for £219. It was a toss up between this and a Durga which i was going to add hop ups, but the cost of the Durga and decent hop ups would have cost more than the B44. I am biased towards Tamiya but after building and driving the B44 i am blown away, especially with the Mamba Max 7700kV brushless system. I would definately recommend the AE B44!

I've just built my one too, really impressive tolerances / fit of the parts, everything is really tight and precise, I'm waiting for my brushless system

How you finding the 7700? Thinking of going Castle Creations but perhaps the 5700? Are you running it at the track?

The Mamba is spot on for this car, i bought the 7700kVA system because i am using NIMH cells at the moment. I really want to race the car next year too so i'll be able to tell more when it's on the track.
