WALKER BULLDOG REVAMP (yeah i couldn't leave it be!!)
Hi i have been at it again, back in the UK and i just couldn't help myself!!!
This is my Walker bulldog, i did a make over on it last year, but i never got round to putting right all the silly things that hen pong keep getting wrong! so i cut off and lowered the drivers periscopes to the right place, i cut off and lowered the tool rack into it's correct position for an early tank, the 50 cal with the paintbrush barrel was finally binned and i put on 2 yes 2 new tamiya ones, oh what a difference!! i also butchered the commander cut his arms and repositioned them, and then cut him off at the waist and repositioned him to the loaders hatch, of course he had to be repainted, the commander figure from a Tamiya sherman was built up from my spares bin and he now sits in his new place, but i think i may have upset the old commander as he now looks away from the new boss and wont talk to him, but hey who cares, i gave the old commander a nice scale map to look at, and once i had crumpled it and weathered it it looked quite cool, the whole tank then got retouched, and re weathered with a nice dark oily black wash to make it all grimey looking, i added some more various bits of stowage, like ammo cans etc, also i made up a new jerry can rack for the back, and put 2 tamiya jerry cans in it, and badda bing badda boom!!! the thing was finished, all present and correct, i even remembered to paint the inner set of headlights a sort of wine colour because they are the infra red lamps so defo not supposed to be silver, anyway i have actually had a damn good look at the beasty now and i have declared it FINISHED!! i ain't doing anything else to it........................................well we'll see!!! time will tell hehe cheers for looking. OH YEAH SORRY ABOUT CRAP PICS, my camera doesn't like close ups!!

Hi Dave, this really looks stunning! Natural light makes the new skin look great! Stowage is sweet icing on the cake! Excellent weathering job!

Well what can i say, but thanks for the great comments guys, i am glad you all like the way it looks, i must admit i am very pleased with it, but I may be very ever so slightly biased hehe, but i really like the bulldog, it is a good looking tank, and i am lucky enough to have been near the real thing, just like the sherman. A bit of weathering and extra gear on them makes a world of difference, and as with any hobby, each time i do a vehicle i try something a little different, and polish up my very basic skills. as for looking real well even saying it jokingly, is a very high compliment so thanks for that, talking of doing something different, keep an eye out for My as yet not green landy, i have a makeover planned for that coming soon, got to cram lots of modelling i before the war and peace show, as i am taking all my toys as a small display!
