Sand Scorcher

This is probably the least favourite car in my collection (I'm sorry!) I swapped it with my brother for something ( I can't remember what) and I hve had it ever since, The First thing you notice with this car is the immense weight, seemingly almost all diecast aluminium. The Suspension (on this one at least) is fragile - all those ball joints to fall apart, and the lack of differential makes cornering difficult. The radio box although a good idea to keep out hte water, also nearly saw the end of this car when the speed controller decided to short circuit - try getting those 1/4 turn fasteners apart without an allen key while the wiring loom is melting - not much fun!!!!
The odd looking lights on the front of this one are due to me loosing the original plastic front of the body -doh It is made of a bit of pine believe it or not!. I have a box for this one and it does look really good on the cover!
I guess I am too cynical...
