You have to remove the parts that are sticking out. And sand it all smooth, then you already have it looking lots better. But it is way to far from the body them, so also shorten the plate that fits under the chassis. And drill the three fittingholes on the new places.


When you attach it to the car you will notice that the plate under the chassis will bend, and looks butt-ugly. The solution for that is what you can see on the picture above, make a little plate from aluminum so it will be pushed straight. Don't forget to paint the plate black, otherwise you will see it and really dislike it. When you paint it black you won't see it anymore.

i had done this to the bumper on my original version of my cheesewagon jeep, but it still did not look right. looks better on this model. might work with the isuzu too.

Great tip, looks good on the pajero. i got to do this on my pajero too. meby it looks olso great on the isuzu too.

I think I lost my XC bumpers in one of my junk boxes... oh well! A great tip indeed.
