Lots of time to think in my work so decided on a little restoration project of an old car of mine. Had a few bits missing but replaced/upgraded many, but really wanted to do something different with the chassis so seeing as i had bought blue coloured wheels thought i would just paint the chassis to match! Painted in pactra blue pearl while the gear box covers are spazstix chrome. The chrome is really reflective used on a lexan shell but has got a matt effect here which i like. Drive shaft is polished aluminium upgrade from CTY300 off ebay, the shocks are off something that was found lying by the roadside by a fella from work so he gave it to me! Wheels are Tamiya from Dragonshop HK, again off ebay. Will complete payment for a shell later from TC member Steve T (thanks to Ruderat for pointing me in the right direction) and will paint that to match, maybe with a twist and use the decals for my original stars and stripes shell which in great condition for 11 yrs old, just without its stars and stripes. Have labelled the status as extra info but when the car is complete i'll obviously label it properly, my aim is to get into the American Muscle sig so i'd better do a good job! Cheers ian
