I really like Tamiya High end race kits but I always wait until a new one comes out to buy the previous one, Tamiyausa sells them very cheap and this was just to tempting at $250 for a NIB kit. I spent a bit more on the DX3R radio, motor etc lol! but hey any excuse to buy a kit is cool with me. I am as many might know not really a speed freak and generally stock motors are more than fast enough for me but like my 30th model I decided the TZ stock motors are way too fast so I run my high end cars with Integy pro v11 35turn lathe motors. This provides all the speed I could want and it makes for very long run times and much greater reliability without the components being over stressed. The picture were taken on Libby Flats with Medicine Bow peak in background apx 30miles from my home. The body is an HPI 66 GT shell, HPI Vintage wheels tires, used 6mm wheel hexes and spacer to get clearence. I painted it Tamiya Metallic blue with white stripes (pain to mask). I spray painted the bumpers on outside with Tamiya PS aluminum silver by cutting clear masking around them with a razor knife. This makes for a much more real metal look than the bumper decals HPI provides and no wrinkles ;)

66 Mustang GT shell on TBevo4 another angle overall shot Tail chassis DX3r Novak GTS 35t lathe closer yes its a pro rock crawling motor

Nice work and great photos. Does a Wyo-World All Access Pass include day-trips to Libby Flats for photo opportunities like that..?

Seth, you are right, those bumpers look real man. I like what you have done and keep up the great work. Better get some more bug spray, looks like a couple mosquitoes landed on your hood.

Thanks guys, on a side note the Hpi 66 Mustang GT shell seems to be better proportioned than the HPI 65 Shelby GT-350 Version which I used to have, it doesn't look as wide and seems to be more scale accurate.
