RAMBLIN RONS NEW RIDE

Restored to box art but got bored and decided the blackfoot needed a new paint job.Started with tamiya bright silver then masked the swage lines on the shell and painted the top half nissan bright red automotive colour,which had three coats then left to dry for two days in the garage.Then masked the wheel arches out and painted them matt black once dry started to flat the ford emblem on the bonnet and on the side using 1200 grade wet and dry paper,(very carefully)it rubs the paint down and brings the raised letters on the plastic through.Then used a tiny bit of Tcut car polish to rub out any faint scratches caused by the wet and dry paper,then the whole thing had three coats of automotive car laquer to finish and left to dry again for two days..Ramblin ron had a makeover thanks to ian(deejay1711)for his steady hand and patience and the tiniest paint brush ive seen..So happy with the end result..all comments welcome guys..
