Hi all,
This is my fresh built Mitisi Pajero Evo. I've seen a number of the Pajero's cropping up in the club, all looking great but as soon as I saw these as a Re-Re I knew what I wanted mine to look like. The 1:1 car sports a 3.5 V6 Petrol running around 300BHP, theoretically you can buy one of these and drop it straight into the Pari Dakar!
Anyway, the chassis is standard pajero with full ball race but the shell has had the arches pulled out front and rear with the rear also being trimmed back to accept the F350 tyres without fouling to much (they still do so I might rethink). Bonnet buldge added, side trim lines flattened and a rear spoiler added. All items are as per the 1:1 version that I had a number of pictures to work from.
The final touches to this will be the red mud flaps they are supposed to come with but have yet to find some suitable material so will go on during the week.
All body work was made with filler and sanding (a lot of sanding!) with only the rear wing being made of blue foam then covered with filler due to the awkward shape.
Anyway, very happy with the outcome. Still a few details to iron out but just about there I think!
Any comments or tips welcome.
Thanks.

Hi def4x4, the white I used was BMW Alpine White. This was on top of 4 coats of filler/prima and 3 coats of Matt White. It took awhile.....

neat truck, I had no idea Mitsubishi did an Evo version of the Pajero but I guess it makes sense with all the Rally stuff this truck has done. Very nice body work too.
