Finally found some time to fit the bigger wheels and tires! The tires are Pro Line Flat Irons and the wheels are Gmade GTs.

All seemed to fit well, but on some articulation the wheels did hit the sidestep so I had to lift the car. I lifted the chassis using some spacers under the leafsprings (12mm in total). Now it all seems to fit well.

I also fitted the car with leds using a 3Racing and Yeah Racing light kit. It's not as capable as a MFU but it's good enough for me. It has directional lights, high beams, flashing lights, brake lights and reverse lights. I made a small movie on Youtube ( http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=OlHryhVB4Ls ) about the different flashing modes of the leds, I won't let them flash to often though as I prefer them to light up constantly.

The body is polished very lightly to give it a bit more shine and I've used a chrome vinyl sheet to make some decals for the site (Mountaineer syle :D ), got these sheets from Tamiyagekken.nl, thanks guys!

It might look finished but it isn't! Still have to build in a Scollins interior and apply a bruiserbuilder.com chrome tailbadge.

Stay tuned and comments are very welcome!

Looking ACE !! Are the skidplates the TLT ones ?? And if so , are they a direct fit ? Wish I heard about the Yeah Racing light kit , I bought Tamiyas TLU-01 and -02 and I understand very little of how to programme them :S Again ,VERY nice looking car !!

The tyres, skid plates and wheels make it look very tough. The colour is perfect too. Very nice truck!

Thanks! I'm not a huge fan of the skidplates though, they look a bit to tough, but I didn't like the axle hitting every obstacle either. @Cinnamon: send an email to Tamiya, maybe they can help you and the TLT skidplates are a direct fit. You'll probably need some longer screws btw, they use the same screws that mount the leafsprings @Ruderat: Sure we'll hit the beach soon
