Patience and a lot of $
This chassis floated by on ebay and one thing led to another.. and now it's here! I was looking for a new built #28 and this (apart from the radio box and the speed control) is just what I was looking for. The radio box will be replaced once I find a new one and of course the missing parts will be added. It's quite remarkable the condition it's in when you know this is from 1981.

Looks new did you pay much?
Zidane
The lower the number + new = very expensive. Supply and demand are a bit off balance in this region of the Tamiya models unfortunately.

That is looking like a very good project!!!!

I haven't touched it or cleaned it and this seems to be the factory finish. If I'm not mistaken this car has never moved an inch.

I love the stand you have it setting on. Where did that come from???
Zidane
Chris, the stand is pretty cool and is better for the tires and leaf springs. An eBay seller with the name plazmost sells them for $38. It says it's for the Bruiser and Mounty but this chassis does the trick too.
