This is my freshly restored Super Sabre. I got it as a stinking pile of dirt from a local guys basement. I really wasn't sure if I should keep it or sell it. I decided to restore it, as I always liked the futuristic looks back in 1988. I dissasembled it, thoroughly cleaned it and added new parts where needed. I stripped the old body with brake fluid, but as the chassis turned out really nice I just had to buy a new bodyset. The only thing missing now is a (black) MSC and the driver which still needs paint.
This resto was so much fun, I'm really glad i kept it! :-)

With its brothers: As it was... ...before restoration.

Good job! I like the view of pic 3, very cool. Sad it`s such an underestimated car, always liked it!

Thanks guys, yeah I really think it deserves to step out of the shadow of the Boomerang. I'm tempted to see how she goes!

Nice restoration. Whenever I do one I end up not using any of the original parts so I end up with a new one and the one I started with.

Looks great example/restore, I recently got my 1991 SS out of storage, found plastic parts B3, B10 & B11 had fell/split apart, sourced Boomerang B Part equiv's via MotorsportUK and its now re-running on orig battery.
