I got this Scorcher from Ebay .The shell was cracked to pieces and bonded back together with silicon sealant .No radio tub - just an open top tupperware tub or something similar .Lots of work on this shell .It will become box art blue & white

Nice. Long, long time ago I used to be in the painting game and that's the same colour like Glasurit etching primer...

Hi Alex. This is a Halfords plastic primer / filler .Good stuff , and once flatted back it gives a good solid base

Halfords paints are quite good i have tried car plan paint and its not that good for model use it just don't seem to be so well suited for plastics and requires more messing around to get a good finish.

Yes , i always use Halfords sprays - or if i want a special colour (like the blue on my Champ restyle) then i use an auto paint supplier.I found Car Plan stuff to be useless too .Holts range used to be good ,but i dont know if they're still around?.

Yes i've used smooth Hammerite before - but not on my RC's - it will be interesting to see how it turns out
