My full option TB01 is now 100% gravel thanks to the arrival of my Camel Sx4 (see link related model). The Spec runs as follows
Full Long arm suspension
Full Universal driveshafts front and rear for max steering and drivetrain response
Aluminum steering again to take the slop from the stock system
Massive tight fitting front foam bumper to prevent as much shell damage as possible
Tuned oil dampers which have been lengthened and then setup for superb bump supression compared to the stock TB01
Limited slip diffs by the adding of shims for a fixed and reliable setting compared to ball diffs.
Lightweight ring gears for performance and response, Metal central prop remains for reliabilty.
Hollow pinion for reduced rotational mass
Full walawala rubber shielded Bearings thourghtout for performance and reliability
Waterproof Mtronicks rv11 esc along with 40mhz acoms radio set mounted as far out as possible to counter the batteries weight.
TB01 inner bodyset and cockpit parts to keep the muck out.
The shell is painted in the style of those in the Irish Tarmac series and I think is much more appealing that the standard Subaru Blue even if it was more time consuming. For hard gravel use the lightpods have been removed and put in the swift as they have a habit of coming loose and suffering damage as well as getting filled up with gravel. Comments and questions as ever welcome.
Best Wishes Ryck

Very nice mate. A Fabia VRS WRC would look awesome in your collection ; )

Interesting to see more about your TB01
I recently bought another TB01, that will be a shelfer, and my Evo VI will need sealed bearings and, proper radio set and tub protection sheet before it will hit the gravel (I only tried it once on gravel now). I'm still looking for ways to crank more downward suspension travel out of my suspension, this time not only for ground clearance but I'm missing droop at the moment.
I'm also thinking of an '07 Impreza shell, so how is the clearance between the wheel arches and the wheels with those LA arms? (my LA arm set hits the Evo VI shell when pushed fully up).

Cheers, Yeah the radio doesnt mind dust nor do most esc's as long as you give it a regular brush/spray out with the old air compressor. I know of the issue you are refering to with the rear of the Lancer VI as I had the same issue, The Impreza 07 has none of those issues and is a very good shell to all accounts with the lights and the less defined/moulded front grill making it stronger and more resiliant to cracks than other rally shells. I would be interested to see how you get more clearance. I am running with about 3mm droop on the front and a similar amount on the rear, Seems to work very well on our soft and dusty gravel of a local car park. Hope this helps Ryck
