How To Blend Colors Without Using Airbrush
Hello Gang, this little simple tutorial is to show you how to blend custom color using spray can. It is a perfect technique for those people without airbrush or lazy children like me. It is very simple and effective. In this case I use Tamiya light blue and Tamiya pearl white to create pearl light blue. What you need is duct tape or rubber band, a wooden stick, and two spray cans (duh). So follow and picture and read the caption. Voila~ you are a spray paint master now. 1. Point both nozzles slightly toward the center.
2. press on the wooden stick and you are done!

Have you done this and did it actually work well? Because for it to work, you probably need to keep the nossles at perfectly the right distance from the shell, and press on the wooden stick evenly... Very nice and innovative idea though

Brtoher Origineelreclambord: Yes I have. the trick is to do a light mist parallel to the model first pass at about 6 to 8 inches away. then do the same several more coats to get all the parts balanced right. It is a convient way for people without airbrush.

Very original and useful I guess, but it should be taken in account that the paimt will be double of a normal can so you should make a faster motion to avoid runnings.
