I bought this kit from Modelsport last Christmas so that I'd have something to get my teeth into over Christmas. Is it just me that loves the smell of these kits when you first lift the lid?

Took me quite a while to actually get this started and it's only now that I've painted the shell and driver. I WILL get the decals on tomorrow. I WILL!

Updated 15/09/09 - I said I would and I did. Looks too good to run at the moment, but I'm sure that I'll get over that feeling.

:: spray booth :: he has that look of terror I think.. :: wow, do these things shine when you peel 'em :: decals on and looking great :: the finished article

Agressive looking and fun to bash arround. Another word of advice, recycle those plasticbearings and fit a complete set of rubbersealed ballbearings instead, then this little bugger will last for ever!

I have added the sealed bearings already and have been amazed by the smoothness of the gearbox and wheels. Really good.

I am having trouble with those pesky decals not staying stuck down properly though - especially around the roll-bars. Knew I should have painted them!

Yes, they are running very smooth, arenĀ“t they? The decals, especially arround the rollbars, will not stay in place. Not even on my new built, never run shelfer. I knew i should have painted those rollbars....
