Just Collected this Model Motorcycle, from a very old Friend of Mine..Who i found that often has been quite a Fan of Various Tamiya/kyosho and Raptor Models..Was a little Surprised he let me buy this Model off him, but then again he probably doesn't have the time to run them these days. Its had a little clean but i would especially like to know just whats needed to run it, by doing some research on here or the net in general. The battery was Included but no handset thus far, may turn up the next time of seeing him. Any advice and hints/tips i welcome

Is that a HOR? Kyosho only very recently discontinued those, right?

I didn't know Kyosho released a RGV500 in it's first gen. motorbike series, much less a Kevin Schwantz Pepsi livery as all I've ever seen are Wayne Gardner Rothman Honda NSR500 and Eddie Lawson Yamaha red and white YZR500, this is a fantastic find, let me know if you ever want to get rid of this, it'll look great next to my Lucky Strike later version, Kevin is a hero of mine growing up on bikes, meet him at Road Atlanta a few years back, he's a real demon on bikes and a super nice bloke in person.

Great bike/livery just dug out my old 1992 Kyosho catalogue that lists the Pepsi Suzuki alongside the red/white YZR(not the Marlboro vers.) Yamaha and rothmans NSR Honda, great friend you have there!

Big Open Spaces with a little more Speed, i've heard is the Way to go With them..@turbo' this Isn't Unique on here, there's at least One other like It! that Inspired me Some[to have Met Kevin in person Was a Obviously a Great moment For You!]'Excellent!' This is a Suzuki, I had been Researching kyosho Honda's quite a bit lately..May have Led to My Mistake! HOR? Currently attempting to Know as much as possible about them So I have to Pass on that One Until i'm Certain! the Idea of LiPo power/brushless sounds Perfect for Some Real Excitement, but When more Comfortable with the Controls!..Cheers, Comments appreciated

Nice find, I still have my original one bought in 92, I would not run this on a brushless set up, its just too much for this plastic bike, run it in standard form now and again then put it back on the shelf The Hor is better for brushless but still breaks every time you crash, but the Kyosho bikes are the best looking out there ! if you want a fast 1/8 scale bike try the OTO or Venom bikes.
