Bowled out

After seeing the 1:1 on top gear thought these were very cool. Then i found out that Kamtec with a lot of help from someone here on TC (well most of the help i think) have started producing these! Needed to get me one! Running on TA01 chassis, speed tuned gear set, carbon fibre shock mounts, modified TA02 drive shaft (needed to extend it) and a few tiny details of my own. Painted Ford Solar Gold and Star Silver with a mish mash of decals. Chrome diamond plate effect on bonnet is stuck over pieces of balsa for a more realistic effect but i think i need to trim them to fit slightly better. Rear body mounts come thru the rear of the car instaed of the top. seem more stable to me that way. Used DF03 body mounts for this with a rubber O ring to take up the slop. Works well. Will be takin this out to get very muddy soon so watch this space! cheers deej
