For me it was love at first sight with this car.
I fell instantly for the really amazing F1 style inboard suspension arrangement and general complexity of the car. It sums up my love of all things RC really, I do not remember what she was like to drive, or how much of a pig it was to setup, I would always just marvel at the engineering behind it! Still to this day in fact!
Probably explains why I prefer building them to to running them, or at least racing them.
What it really needs is a complete strip down and rebuild, then to be thrashed again!
I love this hobby! Maybe some new tyres and wheels too!

The paint job was inspired by a rainbow Paddle Pop Just a nice bright body so I could not miss it! The beautiful inboard front suspension. And the rear!

Thats a very interesting chassis! If only I knew what a Paddle Pop is...

Sorry, that was a bit obscure! A rainbow paddle pop is a Kids Ice Cream here in Australia. And the packaging looked like this!

That chassis is indeed an interesting one. Those rear shocks...very cool. Is a Paddle Pop a sherbet type of ice cream?

I do love the chassis, it is in desperate need of a rebuild though. The paddle pop is just a vanilla ice cream. But full of a swirl of probably nit very good for you rainbow colours! The packaging was probably a bigger inspiration, I also use to have a metallic blue/green/silver pan car body that looked like a can of Sprite!

Ah, thanks for the 'scoop' on the ice cream. Those colors remind me of sherbet colors though.
