*As a Mark of Respect to a Fellow Tamiya Enthusiast *..Was the Last Model i saw Steve Working on, The wild Willy mark 1..On the 15th of September ' between 3 and 4 In the Afternoon
I've Recently been Informed of the Sudden and Very Sad Passing Away of Steve Blunt. We had become quite Friendly Since July the 20th, the time of our first meeting! Steve's Intentions were to Join TC very shortly, but this had been held back mainly because of health Issues. I would like to Wish his Family all Condolences, and feel deeply Sorry with my most Sincere heartfelt Sympathy's . The pictures here are of some of Steve's projects and there's also a few of the One's that Steve sent to me, relating to the exchanges we made. Steve was friends with Dunkman (Duncan) through tamiya mainly, and joan_blue4 who is a member on TC was Steve's Son i believe(Stuart). His Knowledge From what I understand was Second to None, he was 110% Sincere and made you feel Very Welcome..I Noticed Steve was Completely Dedicated to the World of Tamiya! Outside his Family of Course...I will miss seeing You Steve and had great Respect for you. We had attended the same School though 12 years apart, and i also found out his earlier years were Spent living in a part of Reading called Newtown, which happens to be where my Fiance's Grandmother grew up,, Although to the best of my own knowledge, Most if not all Members on here did not know Steve, I felt obliged to put Something of a small Tribute to Steve on here.., mainly because i know Steve Spent a lot of time studying and researching, admiring, even drooling Over a great number of TC's posting's, and sometimes Until the Wee Small Hours, I'm sure his own Collection would have Eventually been greatly Admired too!!
Steve also had Tanks, Lorry's and Boats...a few Subaru Brats which were also Close to his Favourite's. R.I.P Steve 'And Long May You be Rememberd..

Some very fine work there, it will be sad that some more won't be done by Steve. His legacy will live on here and perhaps with his son and with you in anything you build that was inspired by these and other photos.
