My dad and his brother got this boat over 20 years ago second hand out the paper and has at in the loft until last year when i got it down and started to add radio gear to it , well alot happens in a year it now has a Monster MAXX Pro 550 17 Turns , a Traxxas SLASH XL5 Waterproof ESC , this is been powered buy a 9.6v 47000mh 8 cell, and a Spektrum DX5e radio system. the latest things are a police siren and soon to come from the U.S a 1/18 scale red/blue flashing light bar these can be turned on from the DX5e

I used to have a 4ft one of these powered by a Hectoperm and gel batteries. Very seaworthy so I sailed it in the estuary at Ynys Las near Borth. I take it from the motor you used this is the 3 ft version?

wow this brings back memories, I used to have one of these about 15 yrs ago - my dad put a DC diesel engine in it. I cant remember the size of engine it was the marine version of the plane one called the Spitfire, which had a blue cylinder head - sorry starting to ramble....top stuff anyway
