Make original metal Sand Scorcher rear clip spacers
I`ve been thinking/looking for something to make some spacers for a while now. I thought of this yesterday. Someone must have done this before but I`ve not seen it mentioned anywhere on the site so here ya go.
To start you need an axel mount stay. (Middle bar if front suspention) If your into srb`s your going to have 1 or 2 of these hanging around. Drill out the centre with a 3mm drill. Cut it down to 13mm or 14mm lenghts. Then clean up the ends with a file and bring down to size. 12mm. Then polish up to a mirror finish or spray white. Thats it. I think these look great, are original and cheap ;)
Hope it helps someone.
The last pic is a clip with one original spacer (sprayed blue) and 1 of mine.
cheers
