Took my CR-V out for the first time this weekend - tried it first with the Rally Block tyres - what a waste of time - ground clearance of zero! Luckily had remembered to take my spare set of CRV wheels with the original tyres fitted - another waste of time - grip levels of zero! This got me pretty frustrated and my mate was having a great time with his High-Lift while I was struggling everywhere. He kindly offered to swap two of my wheels for two of his fitted with Trail Doctor tyres - what a difference! Instantly I could go almost anywhere and certainly everywhere my mate could go. (Had to chuckle at his High-Lift with the standard CR-V front wheels! lol) Only trouble is the Trail Doctors are just waaaaay to big for the CR-V and not scale at all :(

Been racking my brains and scouring the internet ever since trying to find something that will look scale and work off-road - Tamiya BFGs are just too hard but I may have a set to try soon - final thought is a set of Trail Doctors cut and glued to fit M03/M04 wheels - dont really want to do this as I can just see it ending in disaster but what other choices are there??

First time out - trying to hide those tyres! Enjoying the morning sun in the forest Tractor wheels on the rear! High-Lift looking good on CR-V wheels and tyres!

Why not just raise the body up a bit . I did that with my Pajero to put lifty tyres on it. It works a treat now.

I think I will do that - but the tyres will still look too big I think - Mud Slingers appear to be the smallest of the aftermarket tyres but I am not keen on the look
