Had a look round TC and could not find a Blitzer Beetle on an M04L chassis, So i thought i'd have a go at one.

The body is from Kamtec, I have cut all the text decals out and glued them inside the shell using xxx main picture glue. Every thing else has been painted using faskolor paints. The wheels are the orange Suzuki Swift wheels.

I Think this looks absolutley cool and think this will look greak bombing around a track, Enjoy

Amazing idea! Superb work! Very original. How come I didn't think about it... How did you manage to paint the 3 tones like that? I see no evidence of masking.

Nice conversion, the decals look brighter on the M04 than the BB, better I think.

Dig it, riding low and slow. I think the protective body mounts should help in the event of a rollover. I really think this is a unique idea and came out well.

WOW that looks so good! Great choice of wheels too. Never been a fan of the 'paint-splat' look but this is an undeniable beauty!!

Thanks all for the positive comments, Kev Yes I will try to race it..... or do ballet with it!

Beetleman, The masking was done in several stages, Stages I took breifly, (1) mask windows and splats apply decals spray black. (2) de-mask splats remask Green Then for yellow this left me with the orange exposed, spray then remove the mask for the yellow and blend the orange edge, spray the yellow demask and repeat on the green area. hope this helped

Petercabrio, Monster beetle.......
