project Izusu Mu olmost finished
After a long time i did a terrible paintwork on my Izusu. reed here why: i sand the hole body and after i,m finished that i clean the body with washing fuel ( wasbenzine in het nederlands) i woudt use original tamiyapaint color in number ts30 and ts74. i hurd that from a few guys you get then a very nice deep color. for the first spray i use the ts30 and paint the hole body. i let the paint dry for 2 days.
After the two days i paint the ts74 over it.til it dry it looks good, but what happend the next day! the paint was dry but it looks like crackle, that is if the paint is broken. the next day i go to the modellbuild store to show it. i explain how i did it but they have no idea how it happend. i woudt do a new paintjob with the same colors. i buy 2 new spray cans to try it again. stardid the hole procedure from the beginning and at the end the same results!! that was for 2 at 3 months ago.
The project was over for a long time. now in the last 2 weeks i woudnt do it again for the last time. i woudnt use not the original tamiya paint but i woudt go for the paint off motip. thats auto paint color and i use that for some other cars. i hat what more experience with that paint. the paint is looking good now, got only to do some little detail work and than finished this project. this morning go for a little testdrive, after all that stressed work about that paintjob. this truck is compleet original only i use the tires from the Mit Pajero. i hope you like the color as i do, after all that work. and the pics........ just watch and enjoy! ;-)

I know how you felt, but good you didn't give up. And I must say: I have rarely seen such good sanding... Maybe no wonder because you did that three times but it shows: very smooth deep colour. I really like it. The pics are very cool again too.
