This was a project that was a few years in the thinking and a few weeks in the making. I have been thinking about a modified FAV since I saw a similar vehicle on the TV whilst watching a program on the first Gulf War.

This is my interpretation of an SAS/ FAV to be used in an on or off road capacity for 'night ops'. It has 2 complete sets of wheels for different driving conditions, plenty of fuel & water carried in Jerry Cans, sand plates and a camo net for 'laying up' during the day. It also has a two man crew on board which took a lot of work with a Dremel which was very scary cutting up new parts that are pretty expensive!!

I am really pleased with how this one looks now its completed painted in matt black and olive drab.

Fantastic work - I'd love to see the alternative tyres fitted just to see where they are going to stow all the road tyres when the sand tyres are fitted.
