After finding the missing speedo, I started the restoration.
This bike took quite some time to restore cuz of the complicated paint pattern.
I wanted to give it a classic look so brown would be the perfect retro color.
To give it a nice shine, I coated the 'bodyparts' with a clear laquer and polished it to get rid of all the scratches and imperfections.
This was the most consuming task...
The signal lights were painted clear orange with Tamiya X-26 and the rear light with X-27.
Luckely, the original paint could be removed with oven cleaner...!
It now has a special place in my home...
Hope you like it.

Now that is one Harley I would own. That is purely stunning and wonderful to boot that it is RC. I am wondering, did Kyosho make a box showing these decals you have on your bike??? Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

@Cramer: thx!
I'm not quite sure what your question is...
The link to the second showroom (unrestored one) shows the decalsheet in the last pic.
The decals for the tank are simply unuseable cuz they don't stretch so I painted the light brown area and added the HD logo from the original decal (still a bit tricky but defenately better).
Wyoming
wow Dee that looks real!

I think the link solves the question, it was just your perfect paint scheme and color choice that make this so stunning. Kyosho made a great starting place, but a true modeler like yourself can make it so much more than maybe even Kyosho thought.
