Here is my fully restored TA-02 Calsonic Skyline GT-R. This was a special edition from Tamiya and included, in the box, a Sport Tuned motor, metal motor mount, anodised wheel nuts, and 50446 RHD interior. That last bit is the part I can’t find – rare as hen’s teeth and expensive if they ever come up, so I’ll just keep watching.
This came to me with a crappy Subaru shell but with full electrics, so I only replaced what I needed to and she’s now in her former glory with a new bodyset painted in PS-30 Bright Blue, the instructions call for PS-4 I think which is too dark. The mirrors and spoiler are matched with TS-44 Bright Blue which is used on the Calsonic static kits.
Looks great now and sits nicely next to my TA-04 Skyline (see link at the bottom of this page).

Good decision to go with PS-30, it's what I did with mine and looks much better for it. Good job!

If I had the money, I would collect all the Calsonic Skylines available from Tamiya. I believe this is the first one, and it's a beauty!

Very nice! I like the paint, I too like the lighter blue. Great restoration! What's the part you can't find that's so rare?

I'm just looking for a right hand drive cockpit set - I'm sure Mr Tamiya made millions of them but I haven't found one yet.
