I am very happy to now own a Sidewinder!!! It is only missing a few vital parts - the roll bar mounts (roll bar and upper rear guard not pictured), steering bell-crank, and lower rear guard. The trans. gears are in really good shape other than normal wear (hurray)! The body is pretty hacked up, but I should be able to strip the paint with nitro. Thanks to Spike for posting the exploded view, the whole chassis has been cleaned, lightly polished, and rebuilt with bearings. Once I locate or fab. the necessary parts, it will be a light runner!!! Thanks for looking. - Jim

Great car. Love the trailing arm suspension and the lay-down shocks. According to an old test report the shocks were of very high quality and already with a threaded body for pre-tensioning. Enjoy it!

Sweet car Jim, A Sidewinder. So thats what I had, I found one of these at a yard sale a few years ago and had no idea what it was but I stuck some electrics in it and went out and drove it a few times, it didn't handle as well as my Grasshopper but it looked so high-tech, I later sold it on ebay kinda wish I'd kept it for a project, I'm Looking forward to seeing what you do with it
