ECONO RAIL DRAGSTER

here is a rare oddity...just new built today a
bolink econo rail dragster,havent painted the lexan body yet but will do this weekend.im thinking of 6 1/2 sub c 1000mah cells,& a tekin speed controll running a 7 turn trinity flatliner motor.it should hit close to 60+ mph.well i will keep you updated on its final progress.....UPDATE:after doing some reaserch for a good solid powerplant i decided to go with a trinity P-94 7 turn double.nice unit great efficency ratings,good wattage ratings,hand wound epoxy balanced.after some gearing & tuning i have recorded by a stalker radar gun 64MPH top speed.its rediculos to drive & very hard to keep in a straight line but it fufills my need for speed.....i would like to try it on 8 cells to see if i can dump it into the 70s but i have a feeling that the car will not do it,due to its weight & it has a tendency to start wandering & lifting the nose up at 61mph.ihave made a adjustable wing for downforce & i will attempt different attack positions but at the same time not writing the car off....I have raced it at a track & its real hit & miss with it...sometimes it launches hard & rips down the track,sometimes it spins the tires & the throttle has to be peddled to make it down the track.but its sure gets my adrenaline pumpin!!!!,im happy with the results & to say the least its a totally bonkers fast r/c.
