Due to your positive remarks I take the risk to put a second plane on Tamiyaclub.I don't want to go out of the topic of this fabulous webside but whenI see some members enjoy this 3D pictures I am happy to share it.
that is beautiful. i have a great planes cessna 182 that is very much like that, but yours looks way nicer, and what a place to fly, wow. i live in the land of trees.
Thanks guys for all your pleasant comments.Maybe it's interesting to give some details of this cessna. It's a top flite 'complete wood' construction and no ready to fly.The wingspan is 2.4m and have a OS 91 four stroke engine. It's equiped with working flaps like the real one.I have no merits on this plane because I bought it from someone. The cessna 182 skyline is one of my favorite planes.I build one more detailled than this one with interiour, functional traps and complete working lights. The plane was so much detailled that the weight was unreasonable high.I had 3 beautifull flights with this plane. One evening I decided to flight in the late afternoon. The luminosity was at his lowest level. My friends called me fool to fly in the dark with such a beauty but it was an old dream to fly in the dark and enjoy the atmosphere. After a perfect take off the plane took a first turn and disapeared...I had no leds on this angle. Then the plane re-appeared but it was too low.I hit the ground at full speed. When I went to the place the plane was complete destroyed. This evening there was such an empty place in my garage.
1 year later I saw this one in a club and asked the owner if would sell his plane to me....
I didn't install any lights on this one and never will do...
Oh, how sweet. A Cessna 182. My dad used to take me flying in one of these all the time. I loved it cause the seating was right next to my dad. He even let me fly it myself. I got to were i could even do a stall. That was fun. But he never let me land it. After all i was only 12. Then some other guy crashed it and the fun was all over. We had it up to 7,000. feet above see level. We flew over a lot of the alaska range in that thing.
