I purchased this new a few years back and knew very little about them apart from it was big, had a beetle shell and was nitro .21. It is Italian built by SVM who had won European off road champs I think in 92,93 and 98. This thing is however an onroad chassis with front and rear belts which I guess will cause problems and need to be kept real clean. As you can see it dwafts a M02 body shell. I have a second one of these also but dont have a VW body for it. If anyone knows where I can source one from please contact me.

Big and its a another beetle I wouldn't want to run into a 1/10th with this

Intersting, simular to compagnucci in size - are they just normal 8th buggy wheels? what are the dimensions? you might be able to fit a compagnucci shell, or maybe one of the other buggy based on road / rallycross cars by kyosho or thunder tiger(i think) I dont think they did a beetle, though compagnucci did [Click here]

Thanks for that. I am pretty sure it is standard 1/8th scale (as opposed to TGX) which I also have. I think you can still get SVM parts so I will try SVM direct. If anyone here speaks Italian and could assist in finding out from SVM if they still have body and decals that would be a great assistance as I spend ages trying to translate via the web.
