Scratchbuilt Balsa Ski Boat
This 1:12 boat was designed in 3dsMax the same as the F-1 boat. Built using the same construction method.
Power is supplied by a Castle Sidewinder Micro 4200Kv combo and 2500mAh 8x 'AA' cells. Batteries hide inside the fake engine box. It has a cooling system built in to cool the motor and ESC. Steering linkages and rudder are all hand made and run from a Hi-Tec HS-81 micro servo.
Decals are printed on white vinyl and will be sealed under a clear coat, and paint will be my usual TA-Yellow with a 'Sidewinder' theme.
The yellow pictured is only a sealer, it's currently still at primer stage with lots of sanding still to go.
