This was bought a few weeks ago on our auction site, I missed the close of the auction and missed out on it... A few days ago the purchaser made contact me to see if I'd be interested in it... he just wanted the transmitter and receiver for his own truck he'd nearly finished restoring... Bought for a reasonable price and much better not to have to worry about international shipping etc... The chassis is really mint, couple of imperfections in the radio box but more than good enough :) Body has been painted professionally in a automotive sparkle pink paint!!! Not my favourite colour for a very macho vehicle!!! Kelly really likes it, she picked it up for me when she was away, I got a text saying it was really cool! I might not be-able to take it back to box art now, I might rebuild the arches when I find the time but there is about a dozen projects ahead of this one, and while it looks complete and freshly painted I won't interfere with it for some time...

wow Not my favorite color too, but I like it. Makes your Blazer handsome

I met the guy that auctioned this off. He spent a number of years in the UK and brought a number of Rc cars back to New Zealand with him. I picked up an incomplete super champ with no body, plus a partial taisan porsche chassis - missing top halve of the back transmission.

That's a wicked looking truck! I'd leave it like that.

Great truck but i don`t like the colour [quick dusting of anything else would be better IMHO]and the wheel arches kind of spoil it a bit for me.I do like the Blazer though, nice one

Whoever did the wheel arches they've done an amazing job on them and the paint finish is flawless - pity it is sparkle pink but it's kinda growing on me and it definately stands out!!! cheers for the comments

I'm not usually one to like 'pinks', but that does look good. The colour almost looks like the Humbrol enamel metallic magenta. I used it on the only Chevy in my static model collection.

James, go get a Barbie doll to drive this thing. I bet you could put some AWESOME Blue and Black flames on this one, perhaps closer to a transparent Blue and Black flamejob to help the metalic pink shine through. Now that is an idea. Oh yea, one question, is that a Lexan body or styrene??? Thought they were styrene.
BeetleLover
Haha lol, yes it's an original styrene shell that has had extensive work building flared guards, it's been done very professionally and the paintwork is flawless... was painted by an automotive painter using high quality laquers...
