King Blackfoot 2 - Project
Here we have a mostly complete King Blackfoot project.
Changed direction here, and hence re-adding to my showroom.
Got the rear suspension on Ebay. Didn't know what it was until I googled around. Was excited to see a different gearbox for a Blackfoot. Had to get dogbones and such for it... Got a brand new front suspension from a Blackfoot-lot also on ebay. Didn't know what that was, until I realized what the rear was...funny how that goes :-p .. Just added the Grey frame (4/3/2009). I had a bunch of other grey 'King' parts to add once I got the Grey Frame.
Decided I like the look of the original F150 Blackfoot body more than the modern King BF... Using Super Blackfoot/Bush Devil Body mounts so I can put a brand new Parma old skool F150 body on this.
Put a 21T Reedy motor in this and it really runs fast and smooth. Has an older Futaba ESC and OFNA Receiver. It wheelie's pretty easy too...Front suspension is much harder than I want, so will look out for softer oil filled shocks...

Hice, the SBF / KBF are great trucks & the lexan shell should make it a good tough beater. Like you, I think the older stepside body is the best body design ever Did the shell come prepainted ?

Thanks. the shell was clear. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I don't like the headlight stickers so much. I'll peal them off when I have a better idea...Body is available from Parma, Part# 10244 .

Looking good indeed. Nice runner, wonder if the wheelies have something to do with those tires.
