Built a Monster Beetle a while back, all stock parts from the Bay, except Duratrax shocks and a couple of my own products at the time, Spike lug nuts and license-plate frames. Had member here Jerry Gold-plate all the alloy on the whole car, and puta flawless paint job on it after joining the body & nose (Took a while.) Just a couple details to finish, very happy with it.

Thats gorgeous! I'd get a front bumper on there though, it just doesn't look complete without one.

No decal plans, front bumper will be on as soon as I make one: The factory unit is just too.....You know!

I'm with you on the factory bumper, nice looking rig. I want to do a candy apple red MB, but may do something else when I get the time. I would like to hear more about those spike wheel nuts though.

Crash, I always wondered how a rig would look if you could get a chromed body & shoot it w/transparent red: The ultimate candy finish? The nuts were one of my 1st products when I started my little biz, Rogue Element Components, a few years back. I'll be doing parts within 90 days or so again once I get my own CNC mill & a lathe, may do more Spikey nuts?

Let me tell you, you will have a bunch of folks waiting with baited breath for the cool stuff you will be making. I hope the Tamiya bug gets into that mill and lathe.

This looks great, I like the missing front lights and the join at the nose being invisible. Very nice job indeed. How about trying different tyres, perhaps the Blackfoot ones? Just a thought!
