My 1st brat!
Managed to snatch this up from ebay with a BIN for £50. always wanted one but somehow put it off as the look isnt very scale and what im used to. but the paintwork caught my eye on this one so had to have it. whoever painted this put a whole lotta effort into it and i really like it. wheels are literally yellow with age! it even come with full period radio and 2x 5n-1200sc batterys! will upgrade to moden spec and run this one gently on the beach i think :)

Nice one, it even has the original 380 Mabuchi. I think some guys are searching this original motor and mounting plate.

i think the original motor is shot though, mounting plate is ok. im going to stick a 540 in as soon as i find out what size pinion i need!! anyone know?

wow something subtle about that paint but it looks very very realistic its not to glossy but not all beat up either looks like an old car that was well cared for

your right seth, i was thinking of clear coating it, but i think ill maybe just leave it how it is. its pleasing to the eye just how it is yellow wheels may get a new coat of paint though

Nice original Brat you have there - if you plan to run it watch the black plastic parts ar they are prone to break. Plenty of spares though thanks to the reissue . I see you you've sorted the pinion but standard brat upgrade is 18 tooth pinion (same as Hornet)

Shiny paint is not always better then mat. This is one off them, that mat paint looks great. Paint those wheels the same color as the driver his shirt, that woudt be amezing!
