True, no.s on TC aren't wholely representative of rareness, i know i've got plenty things i've not got round to not listing yet, but there seems little info. about on these. Sure some more experienced members can shed more light on the subject. You need to find another to build now, imagine how good one of these would look on the shelf!
Jimmy is quite right, many items don't get listed for various reasons. I'm not necessarily representative, but I love Tamtechs and have a bunch of them. The rarest one as far as I can tell from this series (Type 2) is the Lamborghini Countach. The Porsche 961 next and then the Ferrari Testarossa. The Type 1 LeMans cars were a bit more common and from that range, the BMW is the rarest. The range includes Porsche 962C, Lancia LC2, Ford Mustang Probe and BMW. There are quite a few differences between the two chassis, although not evident immediately, the road cars have a shorter wheelbase, different main chassis and many parts are not interchangeable. Then there are of course the bodysets in varying degrees of rareity and the complete kits which include radio gear, batteries and chargers. The unfortunately named 'Tampack'. Hmmm.

Yeah these seem super-rare mate, only 3 listed on TC, another great buy.

Jim, although there are only 3 Listed I can confirm that Tamiya UK doesn't own one any more not to say there isn't others that are not listed on TC.
