Pajero with mild modification
Purchased this one on e-bay a while ago. Was in worse condition than I thought. I remember, the same car I had when I was a kid used to tumble alot (due to a high center of gravity) and hop alot (due to the rigid axle on the rear). Did not have the money, creativity, or skills back then to modify the car. So here it is.

I do like this metallic grey/chrome scheme. You've done a really nice job of that.

I have never liked the Pajero. But this is a differant ball game! Completely original & looks FAR better than the original colour scheme. Top work!

Yes, that hornet rear axle set up was far superior to the standard grasshopper set up. Nice work.

hi ya, I have only recently found out the Hornet axle parts differed from the old Pajero, then I find your car how does it handle now? I probable won't do the battery mod, I may look at move it or making a battery to suit the shape of the chassis.

It turned out to be more stable than a hornet, probably due to wider tires up front and more weight above the axles. Tumbles forward occasionally though.

Yeah, it handles great. It's actually pretty fast too since it doesn't bounce around anymore. Check out my showroom for pics of it running.

How did you build the battery in??
the pics are a bit dark for me.

Some serious hacking of the chassis is required.
TC member Snake Plissken has done similar mods.
Check out his pics.

Nice work, I definately like this better than the box art version, very clean tidy job, well done. Looks like a fun satisfying car to drive too.
