Um. What can I say...
Well. It was not listed as a Fox, just 'Tamiya buggy' or something.
I saw it was a fox..but wow...20+ years of dirt and grease...pretty funny. This pic shows it in more pieces than it came in. I've cleaned it up a little.
Interestingly. As soon as I started to disassemble it, I started looking for a few parts to buy on feebay.
Its basically a complete car (with a couple of breaks), desperate for a clean and a new motor/pinion.
My son was like 'why don't you glue to broke bits'..simple...given that I paid $40 for this and some other junk, his logic is simple. Kids have that amazing ability to think simple.
Its funny really; I've brought my kids up to understand that most stuff can be fixed rather than thrown away (fixing their toys and stuff, when they break); and here I am, ready to pull all the broke bits off, and get new ones...
Now if there was only a way to get back the parts that previous owners burn off cars with their soldering irons...
Anyways...Yet another project to add to the list. I really gotta get a life and get off ebay at night...

Wow, that auction pic is a real turn off, but we all see the potential. I bet you will have it looking like a silk purse in no time.

I hear you. At night the brain is working so much smoother and thats when you decide to buy stuff, that you didn't though you needed.
