I've had this Hilux High-Lift since it came out and it seems to be changing all the time, it gets more and more worn looking as it gets more used, if I scratch it I weather it into the look, as new tires come out I add them, it has been lowered twice and has a single speed r2 tranny now but who knows where I will go with it in the coming years...

How it is currently after a few years use When I first buit it as a faded orage hilux

Aging nicely! Good idea about accepting and working with the wear and tear (weathering in, etc). Mind you, when I get the rere buggy champ I'll probably have to hire bodyguards for the little beaut! (No scratches aloud) Love the Hilux and nice going!

This is THE superscale r/c model on TC. It has a great history that some people on here followed from the beginning. it was a joy to watch on many many photos. It becomes better and better every time you give it your 'magic touch'. If you ever retire it from duty, leave it as it is and put in a very special display case in your home. but better run it and get it more worn and upload more pics
