chrome chassis metalic black scorcher
This is my sand scorcher i have built from new parts, i finaly done the body, it was candy lime green but ended up doing it metalic black, goes nice with the chrome chassis, the chassis is fully chrome plated apart from a few small parts that where just pollished and painted in candy lime green. the chassis, RR wheels, skid plate and motor and gear covers are from rad, the exhaust from mike00top on ebay, rear shock are hop-ups from losi mini LST, stock front dampers with alloy shock kit, front and rear bumpers are from lightning-rapid, all the bolts, screws, nuts ect are stainless, the uni's are steel hop-ups, the middle gear in the gearbox was upgraded to a brass one, also full ball bearing set through out the whole car. the chroming was done by A-class metal finnishers, surf boards from a tamiya hilux, skate-boards a teck-deck:-) monster beetle shell was cut back and modified by me, then painted in tamiya metalic black, then i made an alloy sunroof, also took the body clip spacers out and shortened the front posts so it looks lower but its not. comments welcome!!
thanks for looking, there are more photos of just the chassis in my other photos so check them out:-)
