This is the second entry for You-G in the Grasshopper world i live in (it's a happy place, don't try n take it away!!), this is project You-GH2.

Inspiried from my first day on TC and the very first car i saw on TC, DImblum's modded GH2. Dan made me go on e-bay and search for some vintage hop-ups, honestly, and dispite this (my bank account is dead) Dans held in high regard from me :) If you haven't seen his showroom check it out now, i love it. The other reasons this project is special to me is a certain Mr Crash Crammer, my first trade on TC which resulted in a huge parcel of GH parts flying across the pond, i planted a tree to offset the carbon. There will be more credits on my projects in future from these two put it that way. Thanks to Tamiya wizzard as well who kindly donated the chassis and a member in Canada for the shell (please let me know who you are!)

Right the build, all new vintage parts for a start, built dry apart from the shocks. Car has You-G front and rear shocks and front bumper / nerf bar kit fitted. The nerf bars are fitted to the front bumper and a plate on the rear of the chassis. There is one shock collar missing on one of the front shocks. Jason (JR RC) is on the look out for one for me but i might have to find a CNC machinist to make one up.

With those parts on the car i decided to go all out and fit all the box options tamiya recommend for this car. I will detail all the parts on the car when i do my final posting but it's everything! Full Adspec radio, CPR-100 unit, futaba servo, full blue shielded Tamiya bearings, every option titanium screw. option wheels and tires, RD front upright set, you name it, even found some tamiya EX batterys!

This has to be one of the rarest GH's out there and i can't wait to finish it off, just need a original driver lol! Hope you enjoy.

Ooooohhhh Loverley But, spot the missing shock collar :( rear chassis plate

WOW, that is pretty. I think it looks pretty cool with the HotShot rear tires on it. If you could keep your hands steady from over eBaying, those photos would come into focus better, or is it my tired eyes from scouring the TC pages so much. I could relieve you of a couple of those EX batteries if you bought too many. Nice work, glad I could help inspire, I just hope you don't hold me directly accountable for the failure of your stock investments.

I forgot to add that it looks like you will be beating me on building this Super G and I had mine well underway when I sent you those parts many moons ago.

Dean, PRIORITIES my friend. I think you can find a ton of old Kodak cameras out there for about $40 USD, so get one of those and be done with the camera issue, also, start playing with the settings and take about 40 shots of a car and weed out the 'bad' photos. Nice work, all looks like it will be stellar when finished.
