Ah, so you are the driver that has no roof and must share the cockpit with a big hunk of red plastic. Looks nice in French Blue??

Thanks Crash.

I've never fitted the metal roof to any of my Hotshots, only the side netting. I'm not sure why but it obviously saved weight anyway!!

As for the light blue colour, I painted the majority of my cars used for racing this Tamiya light blue (PS3 or PS30 I think).

When you're in a field of 10 cars on a track, with this colour I never loose sight of my car!

When the Hotshot was first released I can remember being on the start line with around 5 or 6 red ones! They were all over the place! A lesson was learnt that day.

Luckily, as the roof was not fitted, the big red hunk of plastic (the transponder) you saw this weekend, fitted easily with a tie wrap. But not so lucky was that it swung around and switched the car off during the race!

Oh yes, and I like the blue colour too!

Sorry to hear about the off switch issue, but I am sure you rectify it soon. I can see your point on the ONLY Blue car in a field of red cars. I was the ONLY Tamiya in the races I competed in, so color wasn't much of an issue as I usually had to fight from the rear of the pack. LOL, I should become a better driver before I can't drive anymore.

Had a question on the fitment of the GIANT red bumper. I have one here, but it doesn't seem to clear the steering servo horn. Mine is black and I would like to use it. Thanks for the help and there needs to be more photos of this on your showroom, but the flying pic from JWeston is nice too.

You know, I have always had a screw loose, but I have never been accused of missing parts. I thank you in advance for helping me fix mine up. I don't know if it will end up on the recently added HS2 or on another HS, but it will be used as soon as you share the secret to getting that bumper on the car.
