The car is nearing completion now, the shell is missing wipers & windscreen. The decals have been applied (from Jez Thain @ screenprintdigital). I used a combination of Sand Scorcher style & his new 'Baja' style decals to great effect. The chassis is slightly hopped up with aluminium shocks, a racing motor (waiting to be fitted) and the car will also be fully ball-raced!
Bit of a racer this one
The decals compliment the paintwork well
Front sits lower than rear for a mean racer look
All the legs 'number 11'

I like the purple frame, but the shell's another thing entirely. I presume yoghurt pink *isn't* part of Tamiya's new TS range then ?

It was the 80's pink was in, then it skipped a decade and came back in the year 2000, lol! Don't you keep up with the times??? @ Blacque Jaque, the main pink on the shell is Sugar Candy Pink, from a Mercedes Smart car actually!

Mecerdes Smart car pink. Ah so its a Hairdresser's monster beetle. As for keeping up with the times, it a bit like a clock that's broken, it's right twice a day so, every other decade I'm fine lol.

Cheers Liam, I've said this before & I'll say it again, box-art is boring! Everyone should let their imagination run riot when building/restoring an R/C car, why have a Italian Red Monster Beetle like ten million other people???

Well said Connor...why have another red MB? I'm not gay nor am I into fashion or watching current trends but I simply think PINK looks good on RC's. My favorite color for RC's is probably ARMY GREEN, so what does that say? Absolutely nothing except that they're both great colors. I started the PINK SIG because I always get a kick out of the controversy that ensues once someone posts their PINK ride. Anyways...well done here, I can't wait to see th final deal!

Yeah, I like the way this is turning out so going to do similar PINK maybe a more reddy/purply/pink in the near future... with lighter coloured racing stripes!
