At the end I had the opportunity to go in Tokyo and visit the Tamiya Plamodel Factory in Tokyo (Shimbashi).

You are right! Japan is ABSOLUTELY the Mecca for technology lovers!! It is a very nice place. I'm lucky because I have the opportunity to go there often. Remember to contact me if you will go in Yokohama or Tokyo area! I will give you hint on the right places for RC, Cameras, Lens, and other Japanese goods that you will find only in Japan!

That is totally a stunning store, I would be like a kid in a candy shop. you don't have the obligatory shot of the beer vending machine. Japan is the largest variety of goods sold in a vending machine in the world, I think I saw that fact on a TV show. They want you to think that the full size Gundam isn't operational, but when the city is attacked by Godzilla, he wakes up and defends it.
