This receiver was fitted to a Monster Beetle that I won on eBay some time ago...


The servos were not Acoms - and the aerial wire had been 'hacked' until it was only 11' long... so I made a new grey one.


I got the as-new AS-1 servos ( perfect connectors for this receiver ) from sgt. barnes - thanks very much ! :D


These are to be fitted into my Monster Beetle once the bodyshell looks new again.

Old Acoms 227 receiver... old AS-1 servos are as new- ...ready to go into the 'new' Monster Beetle

Nice, it's from the Mk2 version, the very earliest had ASA227 servos with square drive hub. The RX was the same but marked ARA227. Do you have the battery box & transmitter too ?

Yes - Techniplus II.


I have a full boxed Techniplus III set - so I am on the look-out for a Techniplus II transmitter now - without a silly price !
