Here it is, worlds first Micro Scorcher. A modified Chiquita Scorchy static model, equiped with a electric motor and selfmade prototype gearbox, a micro servo and receiver (40 MHz FM Band). The battery is a 4cell NiMH (370 mAh).
It´s just the result of another small model i started working on, but then i decided to have a break from this project and making only one RC Scorchy for test purposes...

Sorry, but this one is not for sale. Maybe i´m going to work on another prototype as base for a small series. The model shown is unique and not to be reproduced in a small series.
It is also equiped with front lights and even the driver´s head is moving with the steering (inspired by Rad22Rad´s work on the SnapOn Scorcher).
The tyres are selfmade and look quite ugly, but they are good enough for running. Would have to work on new tyre prototypes and molds, too....

Please have also a look at my movies section for the short video of RC Scorchy´s testrun, enjoy !!! :-) Thanks for looking and for your comments ! Olli :-)

completely modified static model 1/35 my Bruiser transmitter used for RC Scorchy first selfmade rubber tyres :-/ very small gearbox.... , contains 6 ball bearings the build

You are just awesome! HOW?! HOW did you make that gearbox?! I would pay and entrance ticket just to watch you do this at an exhibition. Too cool for school indeed!

this can't be real! Most people (like me) would struggle to build such a nice and multifunctional Scorcher in 1/10 scale, and you do it in 1/35 !!!! from scratch !!!! incredible!

This is sick! 'So does it also have period hopups like a Thorp Diff, or is it stock?' It's awesome eh, really awesome! So how did you come to the idea to do this!?

Olli you are the man! It's one thing having the idea, but to carry it off with such style, that's a whole other thing. you just need to build a mini beach in your garden and you're all set!

Hi Olli ! I talked to Mr. Tamiya, he told me that he and some of his engineers would immediately fly to Vienna to see this little Scorchy with their own eyes. He wants to do the same like they did with an old 934 Porsche over 30 years ago Again i´m very happy and proud that i could see and hold this little miracle in my own hands - you wouldn´t believe if you haven´t seen it in reality !!!!! Well done Olli !!!!
