Thanks for the comments folks.
Maverick: Regarding Slash verses SC10. I found the SC10 about half a pound lighter. Its alot more nimble on the track, and less forgiving than the Slash. I plan on tuning it a little, change shock springs/oil, add weights, play with camber and such. The SC10 is a very nice truck to drive, and has great looks, but doesn't really come close to being a car you could run stock against the Slash. The new Losi Strike (i think thats its name) however looks to compete with the Slash very closely, with a 12T motor and chassis that looks like an evolution of the Slash, rather than a modified platform (i.e the SC10 is a T4 with longer arms.

I love this track! I used to race my Wild One here when I first got it back in the 80's! Went there with my Dad at the end of July to watch the races... the Slash guys looked like they had the most fun!! Can't wait to see some Losi's, and Blitz's, and more SC10's out there...
